RACER Media and Marketing is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Account Executive (AE) to join our growing team. The AE will play a key role in driving advertising revenue growth. This position focuses on building relationships with brands across the motorsports and automotive industries, helping them leverage RACER’s digital, print, and content creation platforms to reach their target audiences. The AE will be responsible for managing the full sales cycle — from prospecting to closing — while working closely with clients to understand their business needs and create customized solutions. This role requires a consultative approach to sales, and the ability to foster strong relationships with key decision-makers.
Key Responsibilities
– Identify, qualify, and engage prospective advertisers and partners for RACER’s media platforms.
– Develop a deep understanding of clients’ business goals and the unique value that Racer Media can provide.
– Create and deliver tailored media solutions that include digital advertising, print placements, custom content creation, and event sponsorships.
– Build and manage a robust sales pipeline to meet and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
– Collaborate with internal teams, including editorial, content creators, and production, to craft compelling presentations and proposals.
– Stay informed about industry trends, competitive offerings, and the motorsports market to position RACER as a leader in motorsports media.
– Use CRM tools to manage and track account progress, sales forecasting, and client communication.
– Represent RACER at key industry events, trade shows, and meetings to build brand awareness and foster client relationships.
Basic Qualifications
– Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in media sales, advertising, or related fields.
– 4+ years of business-to-business sales experience, with a focus on media, advertising, or motorsports industries.
– Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets through consultative selling and relationship building.
– Ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, particularly executives and decision-makers.
– Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex media solutions.
– Experience with prospecting, cold calling, and managing a full sales cycle.
