Rebranding as Korthoff Competition Motors for the 2025 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season, the team formerly known as Korthoff Preston Motorsports has retained Kenton Koch and added rising star Seth Lucas for the full season, with Maximilian Goetz joining them for the endurance races. The team continues with the Mercedes AMG GT3 platform for its No. 32 GTD entry.
“We are excited for the return of Kenton Koch and the introduction of our newest driver Seth Lucas as our dynamic young stars,” said team owner Herb Korthoff. “Their talent and energy will be complemented by the wisdom and experience of Max Goetz. This combination gives us a strong lineup as we approach the season. We believe it will position us well to be competitive in the upcoming season.”
Absent from the driver line-up is Mikael Grenier. The Canadian has been the team’s full-season pro for the last two seasons.
Koch has been the endurance addition for the team the past two seasons, including helping the team to a Michelin Endurance Cup championship in 2023, along with Mike Skeen and Grenier. He stepped into the full-time role partnering Grenier at Road America. They scored the team’s first victory at VIRginia International Raceway, the next round of competition. The California native now living in North Carolina also has a Rolex 24 At Daytona win, coming in the Prototype Challenge class in 2016.
