
Chase Briscoe earned his seventh pole of the NASCAR Cup Series season Saturday at Kansas Speedway after knocking his Joe Gibbs Racing teammate, Denny Hamlin, from the top spot with a lap of 180.078mph (29.987s). It’s Briscoe’s ninth pole of his career, with 2025 being the first time he’s won multiple poles in a season.
Hamlin (P) qualified second at 179.474mph, Kyle Larson (P) third at 179.396mph, Chase Elliott (P) fourth at 179.063mph and Christopher Bell (P) fifth at 179.015mph.
Carson Hocevar qualified sixth at 178.642mph, Bubba Wallace (P) seventh at 178.371mph, Ty Gibbs eighth at 178.283mph, Ross Chastain (P) ninth at 178.265mph and Erik Jones 10th at 178.136mph.
