Cooper Broll will leap to the top class of TC America powered by the Skip Barber Racing School with an entry in TCX in 2024. Driving the No. 19 Pied Parker Acura Integra Type S, prepared by Skip Barber Racing, Broll will compete for overall wins at America’s most iconic tracks.

Last season, Broll collected a pair of top-five finishes in TCA and has continued his driving development through multiple tra ining programs with the Skip Barber Racing School. Broll’s adventure in racing began after participating in a Three-Day Racing School with Skip Barber in the summer of 2022. Since then, the Truckee, California native has steadily developed as a racer with the support of the Skip Barber Racing School.

An avid skier in the mountains that surround Lake Tahoe, Broll parlayed his passion for ski racing into an equal love for car racing.

“The moment I stepped into a Skip Barber Racing School classroom, I experienced a warmth and sense of community that I never would have expected to find in motorsports,” Broll said. “The Skip Barber team has continued to be incredibly professional, welcoming, supportive, and helpful to me as a new driver. The level of coaching and support I received in my first year made me feel very loyal to this awesome team and I am thrilled to be able to drive with them again.”

His journey in ski racing was cut short when he was diagnosed with Lyme disease. After a six-year-long battle it went into remission, allowing Broll to return to a more normal life. Car racing, Broll explained, was the activity that would make up for the years of normalcy that had been taken away from him.

“I first met Cooper at a Three-Day Racing School where he caught the bug for our sport,” Skip Barber Racing team manager Joe Monitto said. “It’s been great to watch him develop from a student in our schools to a competent racer in TCA last season. We discussed his options for 2024 and agreed that the step up to TCX in the new HRC Acura Integra Type-S was the perfect next step in his career.”

This is the second of two entries in the TCX class for Skip Barber Racing. Brazilian Celso Neto will also be competing in TCX alongside Broll.
