Ferrari ace Daniel Serra will be joining Manny Franco in the Conquest Racing Ferrari 296 GT3 for the full season of IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship GTD competition. Two other Conquest alumni will be on board the No. 34 Ferrari for the Rolex 24 at Daytona, Cedric Sbirrazzuoli and Giacomo Altoe.
“I am thrilled and genuinely excited to announce our driver lineup for the Rolex 24,” said team owner Eric Bachelart. “We’ve enjoyed tremendous success in 2024, including a victory with Daniel and Giacomo, as well as another win and several podiums with Manny and Cedric. Manny and I had mapped out a two-year plan; to learn in the first year and aim for wins in the second. Exceeding those expectations this previous season has only further fueled our determination. We’re highly motivated and ready to fight for the championship in 2025. I can’t wait to kick off the season at Daytona.”
Franco is entering his second season with Conquest in the WeatherTech Championship. Teamed with Albert Costa Balboa for 2024, the pair finished fourth in the GTD standings, with a win at Motul Petit Le Mans capping off the year. He’s hoping to capitalize on the momentum built in his rookie season.
“I’m excited to continue competing in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship with Conquest Racing for another year,” said Franco. “This past year, we accomplished some impressive results and we’re determined to keep that going and set the stage for a successful 2025 season. Our priority is always to improve, and we’re focused on consistently challenging for podiums and victories.”
Brazilian Serra competed in the team’s occasional GTD PRO entry twice in 2024, including a victory at Road America with Altoe. Combined with a Rolex 24 victory and a pair of second-place finishes with Risi Competizione, the Ferrari factory driver had an impressive four podium finishes in seven GTD PRO starts in 2024. Serra is looking forward to a full season of competition in 2025.
