
TWG Global has officially announced the launch of TWG Motorsports, a new division of the holding company created “to bring together a portfolio of leading motorsports organizations to drive competitive excellence, ingenuity, and commercial innovation across the globe, with the aim of challenging at the very top of the sport,” according to a statement issued by the company.
TWG Motorsports was established in late 2024 by TWG Global co-chairs Mark Walter and Thomas Tull. The division launched with five prominent motorsport teams in its portfolio, headlined by the new Cadillac Formula 1 Team which is set to make its debut in 2026.
TWG’s racing division also includes Andretti Global, which will continue to field teams in IndyCar, Indy NXT, and Formula E – though former CEO Michael Andretti is no longer involved with the team.
NASCAR Cup and Truck Series team Spire Motorsports, Wayne Taylor Racing from the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, and Walkinshaw Andretti United from the Repco Supercars Championship in Australia complete the current TWG Motorsports portfolio.
Dan Towriss, a longtime partner of Mark Walter, will lead TWG Motorsports as CEO.
