Anglo-American McLaren partner team United Autosports has taken the wraps off the livery that its pair of LMGT3 Evos will sport in the 2025 FIA World Endurance Championship.
United has gone with a bold new take on the papaya and black design that will make both cars stand out during what is undoubtedly a hugely important season for the team and McLaren, which will celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Woking brand’s 1995 Le Mans triumph this June.
“It is a very special year to be racing with McLaren in the WEC,” says Richard Dean, United Autosports CEO, “and our 2025 livery celebrates that. This season is about building on strong foundations, winning races and going for the championship title, and we are doing that in a car that is proudly, unmistakeably McLaren.”
The No. 59 McLaren GT3 EVO – which shares the race number of the Le Mans-winning McLaren F1 GTR – welcomes team returnees James Cottingham and Gregoire Saucy, who together posted three top-four race results with the team in the 2024 WEC, and newcomer Sebastien Baud.
